Congratulations on connecting your social media accounts!

The next thing to do is invite team members to join you.

Why is this important? Brolly is a social media archiving tool which means it’s important for social media managers and record managers. It’s a good idea to have at least one member from both teams able to log into Brolly.

Your social media manager needs to be on the team, to connect social media accounts. This is a critical part of the process. Archiving in real time commences as soon as an account is connected. To proceed with Brolly, you'll need to know how many records a month your organisation creates - another reason to get connected as early in the trial as you can.

Your records manager needs to be on the team, to generate exports and ensure they are then classified correctly and uploaded into your record management system, to be managed as official records of your organisation. (Remember that your social media accounts are legal records)

Your management team might also like to be invited in, to see for themselves how Brolly works. Social media archiving helps social media managers and records managers collaborate to keep the the organisation compliant. Brolly provides greater transparency internally on the important conversations you are having with customers and your community.

  1. Log into Brolly and go to Settings, then choose the Users tab.

Select Invite when you’ve completed the details.

The new team member receives an email. You are returned to the list of team members.

  3. In the list of team members, the person you invited now appears as Pending. When they accept the invitation their status changes to Active
