When you export social media records from Brolly, you can choose to export the records a file format that meets your needs for record keeping or reporting.

Choosing a file type

In the Exports screen, as you select which records to export and which time period to cover in your export, you'll also be prompted to choose your preferred format.

You can export records from your feed in the following formats:

PDF - a single file in PDF format. Perfect for uploading to TRIM or other eDRMS.  The file includes header information so you can quickly check date range, record type, accounts, search terms, tags and more. The file is 'flat' which means that all the information you need is in one file.

HTML - this is a richer format export. You'll receive it a zip file, and when expanded there is an index file (index.html) and a folder for each of the individual records in the report. The folder contains text, images, videos associated with the record.

CSV - this is a database-ready spreadsheet style export, delivered as a zip file.

JSON - some customers have record management systems or other applications that handle this raw format.
