If you use your computer to log into more than one Brolly account, you might find that your screen is missing the Settings tab, even though you should have access. Settings should appear on the left hand side of Brolly screens, for all team members with 'Owner' access to Brolly.
This sometimes happens with Groups, for example, if an organisation's 'owner' logs in at the same computer as a group owner or group member. The settings tab is where you add new accounts and invite other people into the account. Some group roles don't have access to the settings tab, but the organisation owner and group owners should be able to see it. Read more about roles in groups.
Brolly works on all the main browsers, for example Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge and its predecessor Internet Explorer.
Sometimes the browser caches (remembers) your last login. This is normal for browsers. You might have noticed this sometimes happens with web applications.
If you need to log in using different credentials on the same computer and you aren't seeing the settings tab, we recommend you:
- Start with a browser hard refresh. A hard refresh makes sure that your browser is loading the most recent version of the page you are trying to view.
See our article: How to do a hard refresh - If you have performed a hard refresh and still can’t see the settings tab, log out and close your browser including all the tabs. Re-start the browser and log in with the required credentials.
- If you have performed a hard refresh, and closed and restarted your browser, and you still can’t see the settings tab we recommend you open a private browser session (Incognito in Chrome, Private Browser in Firefox or InPrivate in Microsoft Edge). When you log in with your credentials, all the menus and tabs you have access to should be visible.
If you have tried all these steps and you are still not seeing the settings tab, please contact us on support@brolly.com.au We’re here to help!
