You can now select multiple records and apply tags for an even more powerful saved search feature in Brolly. Use Brolly’s search and filter functions to see a set of records that meet the criteria you’re looking for.

Searching and filtering like this is a great way to group together records that relate to a social media campaign, a topic, or a retention or disposal classification.

Once you’ve created a set of records using filtering and sorting, you can apply tags to those records so that they are easy to find and export from the feed.

Before you begin

If you are planning to select multiple records and apply a tag to all of them, your tag must already be set up. You can create tags in Settings. Read the full procedure.

Select multiple records

  1. Log into Brolly and choose Feed in the left hand menu

  2. In the feed, when you hover over a record, you'll see a grey circle and tick in the top left hand corner of the record.

The circle becomes pink with a white tick once you've selected a record.

  3. Press the grey tick to select the record. The number of selected records shows at the top of the Feed. You can select up to 25 records in this way.

Apply tags to selected records

Once you have selected a number of records that meet criteria you're looking for, you can apply one or more tags to the selection.

  1. In the area above the feed, select Tags.

  2. A small modal window appears where you can start typing to see a list of available tags.

  3. Select one or more tags to apply to the selected records.
If all the selected records share a tag, you can also remove that tag from all the selected records here by clicking the x next to the name of the tag you want to remove.
    Press Save when done.

  4. When you’ve applied tags in this way, you’re returned to the feed and the tags you selected records you had selected now have the tags applied.
