Examples of how notes can enrich your records
Deleted posts and comments
Sometimes it’s necessary to delete a post. When you delete a post on Facebook or Twitter, it disappears from the platform and cannot be retrieved. Yet, for audit purposes you’ll often need a verifiable record of the deleted post - which is why you.
Use Notes as a reminder to colleagues, or to ‘future you’ about why you deleted or edited that post. And if you move on to bigger and better things, you will do so knowing you’ve left a robust audit trail for the people who come afterwards.
'Job done'
If you're using your social media to provide customer service, you may find requests for help from members of the community appear in your comments. If any of those requests result in a work order, you can use Notes to let your colleagues know that you have actioned the request, and provide a work order or tracking number in case your colleagues want to follow up.
