If you use Facebook groups to connect with your customers and build a community, you can capture and archive those conversations in Brolly. 


Connecting a Facebook group has two main steps:


  1. Connect the Brolly App to your Facebook group
  2. Connect the Facebook group into Brolly.


1. Connect the Brolly App to your Facebook group


Before you begin: You'll need access to a Facebook profile (not a Facebook page) that is an admin of the Facebook group you want to connect.  

  1. Log in to Facebook
  2. Go to the group you want to add to Brolly
  3. In the left hand menu, choose Settings 
  4. In the Facebook group settings page, scroll down to Apps and click the Edit icon.
  5. In the App screen choose Add Apps.  
  6. In the Group apps screen, enter brolly into the search field and the Brolly app appears
  7. Select the Brolly app and you'll see a confirmation screen. Click Add to confirm you want to add the Brolly app.
  8.  Now you are ready to log into Brolly and connect the Facebook group. 

2. Connect the Facebook group into Brolly

Before you begin: You must connect the Brolly app to any Facebook groups you want to include in your Brolly archive.

 

  1. Log into Brolly
  2. Choose Settings then the Accounts tab
  3. Select the Add Account button
  4. Choose Facebook group from the list of account types. 
  5. If you are already logged into Facebook, a list of Facebook groups that you manage and now appears. If you are not logged into Facebook, you may be prompted to do so. Follow the prompts and log in, accepting permissions for Brolly.
  6. Select the Facebook group/s that you want to connect to Brolly. 
  7. Click Add. A success message appears and you can now see the Facebook groups in your list of connected accounts.
