The thing we know about social media is that feeds move fast. If you're looking for a post by a particular person, you can save yourself a great deal of scrolling with a quick search.

Search will work with the person's full username, or just a part, such as just the first name or last name.

Steps at a glance

In your Feed, choose Advanced, then enter all or part of the person's name into the User name field.

Detailed search procedure

  1. Log in to Brolly and go to FeedWhen your feed loads, you'll see all the records associated with your connected accounts.
  2. Click Advanced in the list of functions at the top of the page
The Advanced search box pops up below the search field.

  3. In the Advanced search box, enter all or part of person's name in the User name field
  4. Click Apply to see search results filtered by the name you entered.

What to watch for

An Advanced search automatically searches all publicly visible records related to your account, also called 'public activity'. To quickly check this, look at the Public activity toggle after your search is complete, you'll see that the toggle is switched 'on' - to show all public records.

If you try to search using the standard search box, make sure you manually switch this toggle on, to see results for all public records.
