Facebook tokens* may expire in Brolly, to keep your access secure, or if Facebook has changed how your account is accessed.
We will try and let you know about token expiry. Here’s what to do if you receive a notification email from us, or if you notice for yourself that your Facebook tokens have expired.
Before you begin
Log into Facebook before you start the reconnection process... it makes the process even smoother!
Make sure you have Editor or Admin access to the page or pages that need reconnection. If you do not have Editor or Admin access, you will not be able to reconnect.
Check that pop ups are enabled for Facebook on your browser. If pop ups are blocked it could prevent an important Facebook message during the reconnection process.

Ready? Now follow these steps
Log into Brolly and go to Settings, then the Accounts tab. If you have an expired Facebook token it is clearly marked in your account list.
(If you use Groups, check the accounts lists for Groups by going to Settings, then the Groups tab. Select the three dots ... beside each group to see details, including a list of accounts.)
Note: If you are not logged in to Facebook at this point, a pop up window appears with a prompt to log in and grant Brolly access to your pages. Click OK on the popup if it appears.
Select the three dots ... beside an account that has expired tokens, then choose Reconnect.
In the Reconnect screen, select the account or accounts by selecting the checkbox and then clicking Reconnect. Your account tokens are updated and a success message appears.
You can reconnect more than one Facebook account in this screen.
Check the accounts in the account list. The Facebook page you receonnected should now be marked Active.
*A Facebook token is a long, system-generated number that's used in the back end of Brolly like a password for securely connecting to your Facebook page. Sometimes Facebook expires or resets a token and your Facebook page needs to be reconnected to Brolly.
